    Your true identity; Romans 8:9-11

The Lord would say unto every soul it is not my will that any should perish but that all would come to repentance (change you way of thinking) God created all of us ,but not all of us are his children. GOD speaks in his word in Romans 8:9-11, "But you are not controlled by your sinful nature. You are controlled by the Spirit if you have the Spirit of God living in you. (And remember that those who do not have the Spirit of Christ living in them do not belong to him at all.)Since Christ lives within you, so even though your body will die because of sin, the Spirit gives you life because you have been made right with God. The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you." The Holy Spirit.

YES! We must remember to repent and allow the spirit to control us, and not our sinful nature. TRY, TRY AGAIN!

    Thank you.

    Amen Tracy!

I once was in an outpatient rehab, I went to "relapse prevention" I put myself in because I had a few years of sobriety and had gone into a convenient store for a coffee, walked out with a 6 pack of hard lemonade which sadly was just the beginning!!! At the end of the rehab, I said "Im going to kill myself if I drink again!".

It was a kid, a kid probably my kids age like 20something, that said to me "Don't say that! Don't ever kill yourself if you relapse for God's sake you get back up, wipe yourself off and you try again!"...

He was right! I sadly did relapse again after that also, and I still remember his kind, thoughtful and truly insightful God driven words! This is progress not perfection! I have today sober, that is truly all that matters! I pray I stay sober tomorrow, I prepare for it and start my tomorrow's on my knees praying to stay sober and thanking God for all the beautiful things he's given me including my life back in recovery! But we all only have TODAY...may we make it the best we can!!!

    God Bless!
