Angry Hello Everyone! lost in translation

hi. my name is "Chicken". I have given that nickname to myself because i am terrified of going through that process of withdrawal from taking Opiates for many years. I have tried to physc myself up and quit cold turkey but the aches and pains and vomiting and shaking are just too much for me. Does anyone know of a good remedy for home detox that could ease some of the deadly side effects from detox? I would be grateful so get off these things and get on with my life.

    thank you and GOD BLESS

Hello Chicken. Thank you for joining the forum. Im sure Gregory would love to speak to you he has a heart of gold. This website is here to help people and Gregory has a spirit that will blind you and he's not just talking from a book. Gregory was a major drug addict for 30 years and has been through every possible scenario with Drugs and Alcohol. We are going to start weekly meetings on the live chat and phone conference very soon and Gregory along with myself will be on the call. Stay strong Chicken i really think you are misjudging your abilities on what you can do. You took the first step in searching for help with your addiction and here you are. I would say your far from Chicken. God Bless!

Hey, I just HAD to stop by and say my piece, guys. Your right, Mason. No chickens here!

The real chickens are the ones who know the hell, dry up, but sell it to us on a silver platter. Is I say!

Ok, maybe that's a little rough. MAYBE. Guess we all come in here with the garbage on our backs. Forgive is part of the process, I keep hearing people say. When were ready.

    Anyway, Chicken your not!

Hey Chickie (no chickens here!) -

When you realize that you're trying to battle a deadly illness called drug addiction vs making a choice or not being "strong" enough you realize it is normal to feel this battle is an uphill one against you!

Drugs are "cunning baffling and powerful"...and the physical withdrawal is REAL!

Have you tried the Thomas Recipe? If you google it you'll find some good suggestions on Opiate Withdrawal that are mainly home non-prescription sickness relievers. The only one I've found that is not non script is the use of benzos as well, that you'll need to engage a doctor to help with although if you're getting opiates on the streets this med is also pretty readily available for sale.

If you want I'll copy it here but it's lengthy, again try to google it. Another thing I personally did was engage in medical help to at least detox, it's better that way you have a hospital or detox help you for the first 4-5 days so you can get your strength back, your spirit back, and be more physically able to fight this crap.

I had a friend once say to me they got off opiates, and they had thought they "needed" opiates not only for the pain in life physically and emotionally but also because of their dependence. It took about 30 days in total, but they realized after that without opiates they had MORE energy, felt BETTER, and really better than they had when they used!

It's doable, don't give up! There IS hope and youre not alone!

    Prayers for you! God Bless!
